Susan, who used to own a gallery and frameshop in downtown Pensacola, wanted a portrait of her mother, who had recently passed away. Susan provided me with several photographs. I picked the one I knew would work and as always injected my own interpretation. Drew it off on the canvas and painted it in my own style. I must say Susan has been a great help to me as an artist and she and the others that worked at Schmitt’s Gallery were a great assett in the promotion of my work.
